Filming a television series set in a Spanish department store in the 1960s is a real treat. The costumes, the sets, the atmosphere… an endless array of elements that majestically immerse the series in a bygone era.

To support that sixties look, I chose to use anamorphic lenses, whose distinctive visual structure and focus fall-off evoke the Cinemascope cinema of the 60s and 70s.

The cast had to appear elegant, full of beauty and glamour—no difficult task with such a wonderful and highly photogenic ensemble.
